Images are everything to me….. seriously. If you think about it, images are everything to you too.

I was born and raised in a small town called Henderson, Kentucky. I still consider myself to be a Kentuckian, even though I defected from there shortly after. I then went to Indiana University (on state over - GO HOOSIERS!) on a full music scholarship as a trombone performance major. I spent the next several years practicing my trombone craft and eventually won a spot with the United States Air Force Band in Washington, DC. Lucky me. I retired from the Band after 20.5 years.

During my time with the Band, I became their head photographer. I had so much fun there that it let me to other things in the photography idiom. Seriously, it was during that time that the photography bug grabbed onto me like Spider-Man and didn’t let go. I was fortunate enough to get to photograph famous musicians, world leaders, and travel across the country snapping and honing my craft.

Photograph living things are my jam. Seriously, I think I have a knack for it. Never in my 40+ years on this earth have I not had someone next to me or a pet on my side.
